The general election will be held on November 3, though you’ll be able to vote early in-person and by mail.
If you need to register to vote and have an Indiana driver’s license or state ID card, you may register to vote online at www.indianavoters.com. For general questions regarding Indiana elections, you can contact the Indiana Election Commission via email at elections@iec.in.gov or by calling 317-232-3939 from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The deadline to register to vote in the general election is Oct. 5.
Early voting starts Oct. 6 and will be conducted at Gather Columbus (formerly Texas Roadhouse), 2508 25th St., Columbus, IN, 47201. This is near Nexus Park, the former mall. Early voting dates and times:
*Weekdays, Oct. 6-30, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
*Saturdays, Oct. 24 and 31, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
*Final Monday, Nov. 2, 8 a.m. to noon.
On Election Day, Nov. 3, Bartholomew County residents have 15 vote centers to choose from. You may vote at ANY of these centers. Here’s a map of those centers. Polls are open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Remember, you only have to be in line by 6 p.m. to be able to vote. You don’t actually have to have cast your ballot by that time.

Remember, in most races, you must live in a district to vote in races that are not statewide or countywide, such as township races, state representative races, etc. To find out which districts you live in, go to these sites:
