Author of Wicked Columbus, Indiana, Murder in Wauwatosa: The Mysterious Death of Buddy Schumacher, and 200 Years of First Presbyterian Church Columbus, Indiana. Also worked as a sportswriter, sports editor, news editor, and special publications editor at newspapers in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana.

Family: Wife, Kimberly Hoffman, lifelong Columbus resident, children’s author, and Cummins Inc. employee. Three daughters, one son, two stepdaughters, and a granddaughter.

Hobbies: Walking, photography, raising money for Huntington’s Disease research, and acting in community theater.

Education: University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, bachelor’s in Mass Communications (Radio/TV). University of Wisconsin – Madison, math and computer science concentrations.
